With the help of WRT, Passive House Consultants for the project, the building has been designed and constructed to meet Passive House criteria. The final blower door test indicates that the building meets the required Passive House air leakage level of less than 0.6 air changes per hour.
Sacred Heart Residences is one of the first Multifamily Passive House mid-rise buildings in Pennsylvania, and is one of eight projects to be awarded the highly competitive Low Income Housing Tax Credits since the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency embraced Passive House as part of their qualified allocation plan in 2015.
The Grand Opening of Sacred Heart Residences is slated to take place on June 5th.
