This project is a testament to what’s possible when vision meets collaboration. Together with our incredible partners—The Trust for Public Land (TPL), Environmental Science Associates (ESA), and Trout Unlimited—we have reimagined the former San Geronimo Golf Course as a dynamic open space preserve. With TPL’s leadership in making parks and open spaces accessible to everyone, the project team and community have envisioned a space that prioritizes ecological health, public access, and community well-being.

What makes this project truly special? TPL’s mission to create equitable, accessible green spaces has shaped this former golf course into a project that serves both people and nature. The new vision sees the San Geronimo Commons and meadows becoming a place of lasting conservation, where future uses focus on habitat restoration, creating meaningful wildlife connections, and providing recreational opportunities. Imagine a space where Marin County residents and visitors alike can come together, explore nature, and play a role in its stewardship.

Guided by the core principles of Protect, Connect, and Restore, the Vision Framework ensures the preservation of open spaces, enhancement of wildlife habitats, and stronger connections between people and nature. Our focus on fire resilience, public access, and ecological restoration means this is more than just a park—it’s a model for sustainable, community-driven conservation.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our partners: The Trust for Public Land (TPL), Environmental Science Associates (ESA), and Trout Unlimited, whose collaboration and expertise has been essential to the project’s success.
