This award is presented to a firm whose passion and practice has produced notable architecture for more than 10 years.
WRT is thrilled to receive AIA Pennsylvania's Architecture Firm of the Year award.
WRT was independently nominated for the award, which recognizes firms whose passion and practice has produced notable architecture for more than 10 years. According to the nomination, “WRT’s legacy of almost 60 years, reflects a practice that remains true to a founding belief that architecture, planning and landscape design should be deeply integrated and, therefore, practiced under one roof. In this spirit, the firm’s interdisciplinary team of designers have made a long-lasting impact on our practice by integrating the built and natural environments.”
“Through our interdisciplinary process, we are able to focus on the full complexity of contemporary places, embracing the episodic and fragmented nature of today’s urban environments, while achieving a unified whole that supports and gives voice to the people and communities we serve," said Principal Richard King, AIA, LEED AP BD+C. "The award is an incredible honor and we’re so proud to be able to share it with all former and current clients, communities, partners, and employees."
WRT also received an EPiC award earlier in the program. This is WRT’s fifth consecutive award in this category.
